  • Casa Marina Beach Wedding Film // Brent + Roxanne

Brent + Rox // Feature Film from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

“I love when you kiss me good morning before work, and how you always kiss me goodnight… I love the big heart that you have… How you tuck each of our dogs into their beds, and kiss them every night. I will continue singing silly songs, and break out into crazy dances around the house, and just hope that you dance and sing along with me.” – Roxanne

Brent and Roxanne were married at the Casa Marina Hotel in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This was our first time capturing a wedding at Casa Marina, and we were completely blown away by the venue – not to mention the fabulous decor Brent and Roxanne had for their ceremony and reception. The day started out rainy and gloomy. To be honest, we were quite nervous. The venue had even set up a tent over the ceremony site, just in case.

But, as you can see from these incredible images by Brooke Images Photography, that day turned out absolutely perfect – making Brent and Roxanne’s one of my favorite weddings we’ve ever captured!

  • Nocatee Crosswater Hall Wedding Highlights // Dustin + Carolyn

Dustin + Carolyn // Highlight Reel from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

We met up with Carolyn and Dustin at the location Dustin proposed, the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA, for their love story session. Kyle just happened to be in town right after they moved out to Cali. So he thought, why not meet up? We don’t often have the opportunity to meet with our clients post (or even pre) wedding, so it was so nice to have this moment to capture their story in a relaxing setting, and the place Dustin proposed. So incredibly cool!

And, we are so happy we did – the beautiful words Dustin uses to describe his love for Carolyn brings tears to our eyes every time we watch their film. Such honesty and truth. Couples like Dustin and Carolyn are totally why we love what we do.

One of our all time favorite weddings and couples. We can’t begin to describe how much we love these two. Dustin and Carolyn, thank you so much for booking us and allowing us to be there on such a sweet day in your lives. Congratulations and we wish you both the best of luck in your new adventure out West in San Francisco!

I think Carolyn’s Dad said it best when he sang, “I left my heart in San Francisco… now they don’t have to because they are both going there.”

    Much Love y’all!

  • Jacksonville Equestrian Center Wedding Feature Film // Eric + Heather

Eric + Heather // Feature Film from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

Eric and Heather had one of the most unique weddings we’ve ever captured. They had a carnival-themed wedding at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center. Every detail was thought out, from magicians to balloon artists to jugglers. They even had cotton candy and a guy roaming around dressed as Big Foot (one of Eric’s obsessions). Heather and Eric worked closely with Christina’s Kreations to bring their dreams to reality, and Ivey Pictures to photograph their day.

We were originally booked for Heather and Eric’s day and had to turn them down. But, a last minute cancellation and we were on our way to Heather and Eric’s big day. It was meant to be and we were honored to be there to capture it all. Congratulations you two – as we now understand they are expecting a little one soon!  Much Love, GBVideo.

  • Orange Park Jacksonville Wedding Feature Film // Dan + Keri

Dan + Keri // Feature Film from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

One of the great things about our job, is the connection we have with our couples. Either we’re both big Gator fans, went to school together, shot a friend of theirs wedding or, in the case of Dan and Keri, our parents met while on vacation in Mexico! Shortly after Keri booked us for her July wedding, we discovered Dan’s Mother met my parents at a resort in Mexico last November. They didn’t immediately make the connection till Keri told her future Mother-in-Law who she booked to capture her day. Keri is also the cousin of one of our past brides (and my old college roommate), Stephanie. Every day we discover how truly small our world is, and how every one of us is connected in some way or another. Which, we think, totally rocks!

Anywho, back to Dan and Keri’s wedding! Dan and Keri were married at Orange Park Presbyterian, followed by a gorgeous reception at the Orange Park Woman’s Club. Keri and Dan booked our joint package with Matt Whytsell Photography, so we had the chance to hang with one of our favorite photography crews too, while Keri and Dan got an incredible deal. A win-win for all!

The details at Dan and Keri’s wedding were incredible. From the photo booth, to the lemonade stand, to the dessert bar, and their cupcake tower – delicious! We are totally loving the cupcake alternative to wedding cakes. So yummy – and portion controlled. Good for those who are watching those post-prego pounds (me! lol).

Dan and Keri – we are so happy you found us and booked us! We had so much fun with you both. Wishing you both the best! Much love, GBVideo.

  • Ponte Vedra Beach Wedding Highlights // Caroline + Ryan

Ryan + Caroline // Highlight Reel from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

We’re back! And, oh my gosh… what a wedding to come back to!

As you might have noticed, we haven’t put up a new wedding reel in over 5 months! Of course, our new bundle of joy just had to be born in the middle of busiest couple of months for us wedding vendors: March & April. We don’t typically get too much in January and February which is nice because it’s usually the only time we get a chance to go on vacation and such. So, with the slow months of January and February and our months off for Tanner, March and April, we didn’t get the opportunity to capture the love we love to capture until Caroline and Ryan’s wedding.

Of course, we had other things to keep us busy (not to mention a baby) like the Lakeside Ranch Promo, Matt’s Proposal Video, the Beloved Photography Promo with Kristin Kozelsky, and the Fairytale Wedding Show.

But, more about our awesome couple… and their perfect wedding day!

    Caroline and Ryan 3

The day started off at this amazing beach house in Ponte Vedra Beach. The first half of the day was perfect: sunny, warm, with a slight breeze. It was everything you could ask for with a wedding by the beach. We finished up at the house with Caroline getting into her amazing dress and Ryan seeing her for the first time at their first look.

Then we were off to the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Spa’s lawn which is nestled between the beach and a golf course. What a nice spot! The wedding went off without a hitch despite the fact that Caroline and Ryan had, like, a ZILLION bridesmaids and groomsmen! I think only Myron and Michelle beat them out on this one. They were all awesome, though, and were a true testament to the type of people that Caroline and Ryan are. Not everyone can amass that many people close enough to have as an integral part of your wedding day.

Just as Tania from Clear Skies Photography was finishing up the family portraits, the rain started to fall. So, with a brisker-than-usual pace, we trekked across the street to the actual Inn and Club where they were having the reception in an open courtyard. Oh no! Not to worry, though. When the time came for them to be introduced and have their first dance, the rain had subsided and, thanks to G-Nys Entertainment, the rest of the reception was full of dancing, laughter, and fun and capped off by what had to be the best-organized sparkler exit of all time.

    Caroline and Ryan 7

We wish Caroline and Ryan the best for the future and we have absolutely no doubt that will be the case with all the friends and family. Caroline’s father put it best: “The most important things in life are not things. They’re the people who you’ve touched their lives and who’ve touched your lives. And these people are here because you’ve touched their lives…”

Stay tuned for more updates as we get back in the swing of things with a new baby, and tackle more reels! :)
