Keith + Michelle // Feature Film from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.
Michelle and Keith’s wedding was one filled with lots of personal details, each with a story to tell. We were only too happy (and honored) to be there to capture it all. From Keith’s incredibly thoughtful proposal, to Michelle’s surprise guest for her new husband, a Johnny Cash impersonator. Michelle picked one of our newest packages, the Feature Film, for her wedding and we believe it was the perfect choice. There was so much to capture and so many incredible stories to include, that a Highlight Reel simply would not have done the job.
All photos by the amazing team at Matt Whytsell Photography.
We met Matt (along with his team) at a wedding a few years back. He is so incredibly easy to get along with and his team works so well together. As Natalie says, they are like a “well-oiled machine.” Since then, we’ve become great friends. We’ve not only had the chance to work together multiple times at weddings, but we’ve also had a few sessions with Matt (Maternity and Little Man’s 1st Birthday), and we had the honor of capturing Matt proposing to his wife, Natalie.
So, when Matt came to us with the idea of shooting a promotional video for his business, we were immediately stoked! We shot over the course of 2 days and really worked hard to figure out exactly who Matt was, and why his business is unique.
We had a great time with Matt, Natalie and James (Matt’s 2nd shooter and Brother-in-Law). Matt’s longtime clients, The Duggers, had some really beautiful words to describe Matt and what he does. They were also very patient while we got all the shots we needed for Matt’s promo.
If every shoot was as fluid and fun as Matt’s was, we’d say we have the best job in the world.
Oh yeah, and the little puppy featured is not so little any more! Sampson Whytsell is almost 100lbs! Whew, I feel like we need a “Where are they now” session with Sampson. :)
And be sure to check out Matt’s website and like him on Facebook!
Where do I even start with Abby and Andre? These two were married at one of our favorite locations to shoot, Crosswater Hall in Nocatee, FL. We first shot at this location for Heather and Rob’s Wedding, and immediately fell in love. It’s one of the best places in the Nocatee/Jacksonville Area to have your wedding at.
Okay, so Abby and Andre are super sweet. They wrote their own vows – which we are totally loving this new trend with our couples – and had some incredibly beautiful words to express their love for each other. Andre certainly had us in tears.
They also know how to have fun – dancing back down their wedding aisle, busting a move at their reception and hosting an incredible 7 (or was it 10?) course dinner. We also had the opportunity to meet Angel of Angel Esparar Photography. She is totally awesome and her work… well, it speaks for itself. :)

Abby and Andrea, thank you for including us in your day and introducing us to some incredible vendors (and for one of the most delicious wedding dinners EVER).
Much ♥ to you both.
Mandie and Chris are one of our favorite couples ever. They were hilarious, down for anything, and had one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve been to. Every part of their day was filled with so much love and laughter. Just how we like them. :) And, hello? Isn’t Cross Creek Ranch like the BEST venue ever?
Oh yeah, and Mandie is a real life Disney Princess. She spends some of her days at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL playing some of your favorite Disney Princesses, like Ariel and Cinderella. So, she had plenty of experience smiling for the camera, dancing around and twirling for us. Yup, best Bride ever. Love her.
All those pretty lights. Totally in LOVE. Thank you Mandie and Chris for choosing US!
Adore Events // Bride’s Night Out from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.
Every month, Gainesville-based wedding planning company, Adore Events, hosts a “Bride’s Night Out” to connect local brides with the best vendors in Gainesville in a no-pressure environment. The next one will be December 5th from 6:3o-8pm and has a “Bridal GLAM” theme. There will be a great Q&A with local vendors on how to get the perfect bridal look (hair/makeup/styling), and a photographer on hand to capture “before” and “after” shots of each bride.
A few months ago, we attended a Bride’s Night Out and put together a promotional video for the monthly event. It just so happens this was the same night I went into labor with Tanner. So, it’s safe to say, Bride’s Night Out will always hold a special place in my heart. ♥
Hope to see y’all there!
