  • Meet Kimberly & Kyle of Heart Happy Films

Hey Guys! Just you’re friendly neighborhood filmmakers dropping in for a quick hello!

I’m Kimberly, he’s Kyle, and this is our crazy little family. When we aren’t filming, editing, meeting with clients or consuming mass amounts of caffeine –you can find us enjoying lazy weekends with friends and family. Sometimes doing absolutely nothing is pretty gosh darn awesome. We like to take life slow, live in the present and enjoy all the little moments life has to offer. Our goal in life is to spread joy, love and kindness, and we try to do so in everything we do.

We’re so thankful for all our wonderful followers! We have so many beautiful stories to share with you–stories that will enhance your life, bring you joy and make your heart so so happy.❤️

    We’re so glad you’re here.

    Birth Story of Jonathan Neal

A story of new life feels like the best way to begin Heart Happy Films. This one is near and dear to my heart.

“Our desire for him is that he knows God’s voice, intimately, he knows it with confidence. He can have just peace and just security knowing who he was created by and who he was created for–to honor the Lord.” – Brian

I met Melissa at a new mom luncheon almost 6 years ago. She initiated the start of our amazing mom support group and was huge in helping me cope with newborn (and new mama) stress. Guys, I was a mess and she was there for me, letting me know I’m not alone. And don’t we all just want to know that we aren’t alone?

When Melissa was pregnant with her third, she knew she wanted to do something different–something that would be special for Jonathan and celebrate their family becoming a family of 5. I jumped at the opportunity to work with them. And let me tell you, interviewing a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old is not for the faint of heart.

Melissa and Brian, thank you for being so vulnerable and open–welcoming me to capture this important moment in your lives, so that you can relive this day forever.

Epic Sedona Arizona Red Rock Wedding Video

There are experiences in life that are unforgettable. Cameron and Victoria’s wedding weekend was one of those moments in time where we just stood there, not believing what we were seeing (or what we were capturing behind the lens).

Thank you to Victoria and Cameron for inviting us on this journey with you both as you begin your married life together. And BIG thanks to Bon Miller for showing us some SERIOUS locations to shoot. I’m still like “uhh you get to shoot here all. the. time???” I’m green with envy, y’all.

Are you getting married in Sedona? You are? Ahhh – well guess what? We travel! Contact us to learn more – we LOVE the West, so we’ll be sure to cut you a deal. :)

  • FCPX Wedding Color Grade | Before & After

The Resort at Longboat Key Club Beach Wedding Video

Kyle did an incredible job with this color correction. I still can’t get over how amazing it looks compared to the “before” footage!

Danny and Erika’s day was pretty overcast and cloudy. We were LOVING the even lighting, but achieving the correct white balance became next to impossible in the late evening as the sun went down (and we lost whatever small light we had). Our cameras simply couldn’t compensate for the very blue lighting.

That being said – it’s so important to us that our couple’s film accurately represents not just how it looks but how it FELT on their day. Even though it was a bit of a cloudy, wintery day in Florida… it FELT warm and sunny. Which is why Kyle chose to take the color grade in that direction.

I can’t even begin to tell you how many hours this color grade took! But, you know what? Our couples are WORTH IT.
