Here is their love story (as told by the Bride):

Andy and I first met in High School when we were 16. Although we never dated until after college, we’ve always been best friends and socialized in the same circle.

Every year we plan a vacation with our friends. In 2007, it was a cruise, with 24 of our nearest and dearest. Each night we have a theme or color-scheme and everyone dresses the part. With 26 people all dressed alike you’re bound to make new friends! Before dinner we all lined up to take professional pictures. Once the big group shots were done we decided to take a few “couples photos” of Andy and me. In the first picture I am sitting on Andy’s knee and you can see him reaching for the ring in his pocket (I have no idea how he hid that from me!). The photographer then asks me to step behind Andy for another pose. As I turn around, Andy is already on his knee, and he pulled out the ring!

I don’t even remember saying yes because I was crying and yelling… and we have all the evidence in pictures. Andy’s best friend and best man set it up with the photographer to keep taking pictures so we have all of the candid moments. Being the huge hams that we are, his proposal in front of the camera, while on vacation with our huge crew, was the best proposal I could have ever asked for!

So.. after 3 years of dating, and 10 years of friendship, Andy proposed on December 14, 2007.

They had 3 wardrobe changes and 5 different locations for their engagement pictures… and it was totally worth it. Each location had some sort of significance to the couple. They were taken at their church, the Opera house, their old high school, the Groom’s Mother’s business, and the Groom’s Grandparents house. Ohh… I’m so wishing Mr. Knight let us wear Orange and Blue for our E-session now. Love how they are ‘representin’ for their college here (along with showing some love for their alma mater).

Jessica and Andy will be tying the knot November 2009 (wow… only 3 months away!). Which means… less time I have to wait to see wedding pictures! Hooray!
