A Pure-ly Fancy (& Free!) Photo Session

What do these two pictures have in common?

Balloon Engagement Session in FieldTrash the Dress session at the SpringsJessica Johnston Photography and K Gallery

They are the inspiration for Mr. Knight and I’s photography session this Wednesday with the wonderful Lindsey from Pure Photography!

I know your asking yourselves… why are Mr. Knight and Miss Gator having a photo shoot? They already have amazing Engagement Pictures… what is this all about?

Well, me, being the blog-crazy bride that I am (and wasting countless hours on the internet doing so) came across the Unique Designs* blog-launch a few weeks ago and they were having a giveaway for a free 1 hour session with Lindsey of Pure Photography. So I entered and wa-lah… I won!

*Unique Designs is an invitation design company in Gainesville. They have some incredible work on their website and blog. Be sure to check them out!

When I found out I won, I was practically jumping up and down with joy (and in the process, waking up Mr. Knight… it was 8am). We were both excited to have won this awesome prize but when it really came down to it… exactly what were we going to do for our free session with Pure Photography?

We thought about tons of different shoots but when it came down to it, there was always a problem with each idea (the location was too far away, we would have to purchase new outfits, etc…). Lindsey was incredibly wonderful at helping us out with an idea she had for doing a (very water-filled) session at the springs. We were sold!

Our session is this Wednesday and I can’t wait. Hopefully this will be us on Wednesday (minus the wedding dress!). ↓
